It's been 3 weeks since my Daddy's peaceful passing ... 2 weeks since we've laid him to rest. It was a beautiful send off. The days and weeks following the funeral have been beautiful days with the sun shining through radiantly. How befitting that it had been raining everyday since Dad's passing, only to clear up on the day of his funeral and on his grand daughter, Jessica's birthday on January 26th. Daddy was laid to rest with a beautiful Requiem Mass that filled the church with beautiful uplifting music and hymns. The church was full, with many family and friends that came from near and far. Though the feeling of loss and grief was present, the abundance of love emanating from everyone raised our spirits and lifted the energy as we celebrated the blessed life of my Dearest Daddy. Our sincere thanks to everyone for your prayers, love and support. All your thoughts, kind words, flowers, assistance and contributions have been comforting and very much appreciated! And to those who were able to attend the funeral and all the prayer vigils, thank you for being there for us!
